What words and phrases does your dog know?

It seems like my dogs learn more words and phrases as time goes by. What words and phrases do your dogs know and how can you tell they know them?

They certainly know, go bye-bye, go for a ride, go get a bath (they run to the bathroom!), puppy food, biscuit, medicine, vitamin (not sure they know the difference yet), water, up, down, get, come around, sit, lay down, go to sleep, stop that, I love you (I'm beginning to think they know those words), be careful(they slow down), time to sleep, time to eat, time to dance, be good, we'll go in a little bit, well the list goes on and on. Just wondered what your dog knows, it seems dogs are sooo smart! Oh and cheese too!

We called our dog bicuits "puppy cookies" and my golden lab would go nuts when she heard us say it and she would beg and bark for a biscuit when we said it. Well one day I told my (now ex) husband that we needed to buy more 'puppy cookies' but in order to avoid her begging for one, I spelled out *puppy cookies* and she knew exactly what I was talking about and ran for where she knew the jar to be.
I'm not kidding, the dog knew how to spell!
They are very very smart, proabably smarter than most humans.

I don't have a dog. Most of the dogs I know seem to know words like Walk, Ride, Outside, Slow, and the one we all learn as our first word.... No.

My mom's dog loves to chase squirrels, she never catches them, and I doubt she'd ever harm one if she did. But you can list animals in a monotone voice and when you get to squirrel she flips and starts running to the door. It's quite amusing.

Yeah my dog knows lots of words and tricks, the common sit, lay down, give the paw, jump) He also knows roll over and whenever he wants food he does 360 turns, and when I say talk to me Dolce, he barks repeately. It's very cute. He also knows:
do you want to go out, go pee? ,
do you want a treat?,
who is that? he starts barking no matter what.
bad boy, what did you do? he goes under the bed.
Kisses! Go get it! Where is the ducky? and sooo many more, I have the feeling he really know what I am saying in every single sentence!

Rusted makes a very good point there.
If you really want your dog to learn lots of new things then you must not use the word "no". Instead of trying to tell him what you don't want him to do, you must say what you DO want him to do. He will understand better.
If a pup or a young dog is constantly in trouble for expressing his new behaviours then he will become less keen to try new behaviours, learn that NEW behaviours are unsafe. He'll stick to what he knows, and do little, not develop properly. I may sound like I'm talking about children but, yes, it's the same thing. My dog knew "come" "way" "heel" "on" "go" "back" "slow" "wait" "fasta" "leave" "walk" "jump" "under" "side"(walk on right) "spider" "find" "trail" "whosit?" "bed" "dinna" etc,, I try to keep commands to one-syllable. I mean youve got to make it easy for them!

Go for ride? Go for walk? Want outside? Cookie. Treat. No. Good dog. Play (this is what we call his obedience training.) Go get it. Get him! Daddy. Mummy. The names of each of his toys. Where's your ball? (He'll go get it.) Squirrel. Benson (his best dog friend.) Dinner. Bone. Up. Heel. Sit. Stay. Let's go. Also, he always has to have the last word. If I reprimand him, he'll say "woof", and I just know that's dog for "*****"!
