I work for the aged and i love it ,the saddest thing is they will die, because im in the high care side and its were they come to live there last few weeks sometimes months and in some sad cases only days but i do love what i do...

I give you much praise for working with the elderly. But, do not be sad because they are going to die. We all die, but when you are twenty you fear it and thirty you fear it and forty you think about it and fifty you know it and by the time you see those people they are excepting it. A lovely thing about the human brain is that it knows death and it slowly brings you there, so don't be sad for they have lived to the point of letting go. As for what do I do? I write fiction and publish a book a year. I used to be an attorney --an advocate. I only represented the plaintiff. I did that for twenty years while the conservatives think that plaintiff attorneys destroyed the system. I used to represent people who had no voice until the conservative agenda of destroying people's voices took mine too. Now, I write. One little ole' book a year for the NYT's list. You know how many books you have to sell for that list? Less than twenty thousand. There are 320 million people in this country.
