It is an extremely stupid idea that will do nothing but drive people away from the very banks they think they're trying to save. It undermines confidence in the entire system.

PISSED for sure. The problem is that the government of Crete is doing that to pay their bills and it has been suggested that the US government nationalize all the money held in 401K accounts and replace it with a government IOU that you can't collect on until your 68 years old.

I would investigate, track it, find them, demand my money back kick their *** and leave with 15%-100% more than I had to begin with wow suddenly I care about money cool!

Well, the US government has actually stolen Billions from the Social Security accounts of its citizens to spend on other government entitlement programs. Since there is no "lock box" for those funds, that money is gone and all of the years that I've worked since age 16 have been taxed and I may never see a penny of that. Shouldn't there be some outrage about this?
