start talking and stop the shooting.most wars are cause by hunger problems.but just giving aid isn't enought the people getting it.in most cases are corruped.so a better way of distrubation.

Most wars have religious fueled hatred. Stop forcing religion on people.

Nothing will ever stop wars. In order for that to happen, every single person on the earth would have to agree not to resort to violence. That will never happen.

Tough question. Wars are fought because of things like ignorance and mistrust, envy, cultural and religious intolerance, historic contempt and outright aggression and expansionism.

How do we stop wars?

Ban religion. Remove all borders. Create a one-world constitution. Provide equally for all countries and all regions.

Democracy in it's current form wouldn't work because the populations of countries like China and India are too large.
You'd probably have to form a global congress of some kind representing all the regions. Even then it's not guaranteed to abolish all wars.

end over-population/poverty/greed/mans drive to dominate and possess
easy to say ....impossible to achieve
maybe we have wars to cull the human race as we over-populate

communication and understanding, valuing human life. These are qualities that we'd need to have in our leaders (the ones who have the most power and start the wars)

I don't believe in wars. If 2 presidents don't agree or get along. Lock them in a room. The one that walks out is the winner of the war.

War is how people tend to solve problems. The only way to stop war is to stop indiference in all men and women. Unfortunately, rich and greedy company owners find it neccisary to send what they call a few good men to fight for their own personal pocketbooks. Using a countrys military for person vendetta isn't always what's best for the country. In order to have true peace, no war, and no hate. Is to look at the problems within ourselves before we try to force others into a way of life that they're not used to. Trying to solve a problem such as hunger in another country when we hqve starving homeless people on the corner asking for change or left overs is a bit redundant. Instead of helping our own, we`re taking food and other people of our own to die to help others who have lived that way for many generations, also another oxymoron.

Basically the problem is one of people not realising their oneness with one another and all life. This really has to come to each person; the only way to force it is by way of SUCH CATASTROPHE that peole really stop to ask themselves some fundamental questions and realise that to survive they HAVE to consider each other. Its a major re-education project.... which is before us right now in world events and the crunch is looming ever closer!

I've got three simple answers to what causes, and how to stop wars!

What causes wars? Money, Religion, and Power, the three primary things all evil people who start wars crave. Let's take a look at some examples through time, it can by any, all, or a combination of those three causes alone that creates a war.

Now, how do you stop wars from happening, if there was any possible way to get people to tolerate each other's differences, I did n not say Accept, but TOLERATE, and agree to disagree, then yeah, I believe it is possible. however, with over 80 billion worldwide, I don't think it is at all possible or probable that will ever happen, especially when you take the millions of different conditions, experiences, and personality types that create an individual who would get involved in wars.

Also, it is natural, and of human nature, to be violent. That is true. People fight over just about anything, there is always a war going on somewhere, even if it's just 2 people in the supermarket duking it out over a piece of bread or a McCain/Obama arguement, it's stilil a war, weather 2 people against each other, or legions of regional armies against one another for world conquest. The key to success are various forms of power, some people have it, some don't, life is cruel and unkind that way, and there is no way to totally prevent it.

So all this yabbing comes down to one conclusion, to end wars forever, we would have to erradicate every form of life as it is, because even animals have wars: dogs, cats, they have their reasons, even bugs have wars. Hornet swarms raid honey bee hives for dinner! Basic instinct calls for survival and progression of the species - something only given to those tough enough to live it out.

And that is my simple take - War is a natural reaction to overtake another power, the only way to overtake another power is to fight for it weather it be direct violence or abstractly, and the only way to eliminate war is to eliminate power, which leaves us with nothing.

Just a little common sense. Its really stupid that people fight to solve problems and even after wars, those problems aren't solved. Its ridiculous to think that people are losing their lives because rich old farts don't have any common sense.
