What would you do or say if your child told you they were gay?

If your child has told you outright; then they are happy within themselfs about the situation.

All this time they have been struggling to tell you; how to tell you; when to tell you; what will you say;
what will you do.

Ask yourself this question??
Has your child stopped being your child because they are gay?

I would Love them Just the same as I did BEFORE I new;
and Support them TWICE as much as I did AFTER knowing.

danielm85948	Posted Oct 8th, 2009 at 7:44AM if i had a child ,i would not be happy about it .but they are still your child .then hug them.and say you still love them.you can not stop them.but if under 18years old tell them to wait as it may be due to hormones.get information on what there body is going though to help them understand.they think they are in love with there friend .it is hormones that are doing this.and they can grow out of it.and some do not Rated: +1Vote for this!

But if my child should have the courage to tell me they were gay, I would thank them for respecting and trusting me enough to be honest about something that is still frowned upon in this day and age when people are believed to respect and be aware of gender diversity.
