Resolved Question

What would you do?

Okay, so I told one of my friends I've been thinking about dating her. She says there's nothing wrong with me, it's that she doesn't think I'd be able to handle her in a relationship and that she feels I deserve someone better. I don't feel that way. How would you convince her otherwise if you were in this position?

She's telling you the truth..believe her and you may be happy about it..Sounds like a better plan.

firegod74	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 5:48PM I would wonder if her saying that you deserve better is based on her low self esteem or issues she's caused in past relationships that would end up screwing up your friendship in the future. avibot	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 5:50PM it is really not in my position convincing anyone.. but given that i really like her, i'll be more attentive than ever before. slowly and without putting pressure on her part. i will not be after the "date" as is but instead be more appreciative of me being with her already. and with that. whatever happens, happens. Angeleyes777	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 4:40PM I think that she is trying to tell you in a nice way that she is not attracted to you. If she was then i don't think that she would be holding off. I was in this postion lately and i also told things in a nice way but for a finish i had to say the truth. It was not nice at all. Leave her be and value the friendship. Rated: +1Vote for this!
