In 1912 for the first time the population of the earth was estimated to be one billion. Humans existed on earth for hundreds of thousands of years before they created a population of one billion. One hundred years later it's six billion. One hundred years from now it may be fifteen billion. We're already fighting over resources and people suffer and die from going without the basics. If we last another hundred years, we'll probably be in small high tech, highly efficient conclaves surrounded by walls of defenses to keep out billions of savages fighting to merely exist.<br />

Wages and the cost of living will both be much higher, and computers will be much faster. I doubt much else will change dramatically.
