What's a good cheese spread or cheese ball recipe?

how about cream cheese, crab meat,sliced almonds,herbs of your choosing,all mixed together in a baking dish(flan size) baked for about 20 mins. and served with various types of crackers or breads ! it is delicious!

Cheese ball: cream cheese mixed with shredded sharp cheddar rehydrated onion bits and dashes of tobasco, mash together, rollinto a ball, roll in crushed walnuts or pecans.
I also like cream cheese under crab and seafood sauce on crackers.

I just go to Wally World and buy one :)

Two 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, slighty softened
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained well
1/4 cup finely diced onion
1/4 cup finely diced green pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Lawry's seasoned salt
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients together except the 1-1/2 cups of pecans. Form into a ball. Roll the ball into the remaining 1-1/2 cups of pecans. Place in refrigerator until firm. Serve with Wheat Thins or your favorite snack cracker. This is easy to make and I've gotten lots of compliments whenever I take it somewhere. Good luck!
