Here is a little Medical tip , alcohol will burn like the dickens and will kill not only germs but the red blood cells thet are needed for clotting to seal up a wound , Hydrogen Peroxide is used in the Debreeding / cleaning process in the aftermath of a wound closing up to keep the Necrotic scab tissue clean without breaking it down and causing bleeding to start again , Germs cannot survive in either one due to the lack of oxygen that all bio life forms need to stay alive thus they will work just as equal as the other but you must consider this , with alcohol you would have alot more Burning pain , with H P there would be just a little tingle ( the reason it was invented for in the first place ) to cause less pain .

Peroxide is not for killing germs. Peroxide is an oxidizer. It cleans would by rapidly oxidizing impurities. Yes, some germs my be rinsed out also, however, alcohol will generally kill most germs.
