Living with parents if you are under 18. Separated when you are over 18.

At your age it’s better to stay with parents. That is a general statement ba<x>sed on how well youth tend to do in school and further education when living at home. It is no secret that supporting yourself and taking care of your self is time and energy taken away from studying and education. If parents are generally supportive, basic acceptable reasonable house rules, and there is a foundation of a reasonable relationship then stay and take advantage of the time to get yourself better launched in life. <br />

To clarify “reasonable relationship” that does not mean that things are perfect. It is normal in teen years to have conflicts with parents and dislike house rules and to challenge these rules. Relationships are often strained and tense at times. That is expected and normal. This is not the same as a truly abusive home life or a situation where parents disapprove of sexual orientation or something like this.
