What's happened in your life you wish someone would write a new song about (no song you know seems to fit)?

I am a songwriter, and I will do my best to add your story to the world of song. It is amazing that for all the songs written, not every possible story has been told. You matter. Your experiences matter. Thank you for sharing these personal things. If I can, I'll let you know if I've come up with something.

I wish I could pick all (or most) of you for best answer...because there is no "best" when it comes to creativity and self-expression and human experience. It just is, and whatever seems best to you is best.

Anyway, thanks everyone. It may take me some time, but I already am inspired by several posts here.

since i'm a scorpio also, i will respond...
searching for a hero to guide me through
law school my goal, to me its all new
will i be disciplined enough to follow
all this knowledge is hard to swallow!

I was beaten by policemen while at the apex of a manic episode and involuntarily committed to a mental hospital.

The time when I drowned, I was only nine at the time. That would be a real tear jerker.

I'd like for someone to write a song about how lonely it can be when you have such a unique personality; no matter what I do I always feel like I don't fit anywhere, like I don't belong with anyone, like my whole life was meant to just live and die alone. Wish someone would write a song about that... maybe then I wouldn't feel so alone anymore.

I need a song about how I restrained myself from beating the living crap out of someone. Or a song about restraining anger positively. There was one, "I'm about to kick somebody's a##", posted on youtube by a dad whose daughter had a really bad day dealing with jerks on the job. However, I want to celebrate restraint.
