"The Big Easy". A very old and historic town...hot, muggy during the summers. My family's from there.

The first inhabitants of the city were prisoners and ******... What's not to love about that kind of heritage!? :) Seriously though, there's no other place like it. I would go today if I had the money.

Food is great! The french quarter runs 24/7..bars and all. They close the whole block of Bourbon Street up and make it pedestrian only...a people watcher paradise. It's a bit dirty but rich in culture and happenings...I really enjoyed my visit there.

A desperate town even when things are good. Probably smells better than it used to thanks to new infrastructure.
