Since I've already come face to face with the local bear, raccoons, skunks, possums and snakes I guess the only ones left are the coyotes. But in other parts of the world I don't ever want to be around anything big/strong enough to grind me into a pulp or able to eat me.

A friend of mine when aged 8, with his 6yo brother accidently walked straight into a pride of lions with cubs. A female immediately charged them. It's only that his father had drummed into them that the only thing that runs away in the bush is food that they didn't move. She stopped right in front of them, sending a huge dust cloud into the air. They slowly, slowly backed away and left.
That's what I wouldn't want to come head to head with.

We have so many around here ... a moose in a bad mood will wreck your day as will a badger ... I wouldn't want to surprise a skunk or a porcupine and I sure as heck wouldn't want to cross paths with a mountain lion
