Well being from Pakistan, my mum made some mean beutiful cuisines and snacks. I remember a childhood favourite was a Buttered Paratha, which is basically a buttered home made chappati, but a bit thicker and made on hot pan. Then its smothered with butter and you eat it with home made mint chutney and maybe some yoghurt dip. Absolute joy.

My mother used to bake homemade bread. I loved her homemade bread.
I won't eat any of the things mom used to make now that I'm diabetic, but if we throw health out the window, I could go for some potato salad, some blackberry puff pie (her own recipe), and seven-up salad (jello ba<x>sed with fruit and whipped cream).
My dad's cornbread stuffing. Mmmm
