Always put away money for a rainy day because you'll never know when a marriage, relationship will end so, Its best to be able survive if you're suddenly alone, Never be a "housewife" without some kind of income of your own if he brings home all the money, he can do or say whatever he wants and you have to take it because he's the one earning a check.

My favorite boss ever told me that emotions are there to be felt and to alert us to things our logical mind might not want to see. If you just feel something when it comes up instead of suppressing it, it helps keep your mental filter from getting clogged. Also, if you listen to those feelings, and process them, you'll make better choices for your long term happiness.

Never hold a grudge. The person you may be angry with has most likely moved on and is happy eating ice cream while you're sitting there fuming for no reason.
