A wise tongue.
The swords the head hunters in Borneo used I have an authentic scabbard everything intact
Often wonder how many heads it has taken off before being transported in someones luggage over here or a missionary picked up on their travels
I wonder too about the rituals used before the sword was taken out to be used.
I am sure if could speak would tell some stories.
I love things like that
Viking sword made of Damascus steel.
a sharp one.
Diff swords for diff uses, I prefer the Gladius (stab capable and edged for slashing)
It all depends on how you wishes to use one. I like a good long sword and scimitar. But a cutlass is easier to carry and has a wider range of uses.
A curved sword is superior in how it reacts to vibration. Also the purity of the metal and la<x>yers in it determine it's strength.
Chinese straight sword, strong, double edged, reliable and fast as hell. It is even decent for stabbing.
a Japanese Katana is one of the best used by Japanese warriors
