    Hesitating to act out of fear doesn't make you a coward, it just means you're afraid. hesitating to speak out because you're ashamed doesn't make you a coward, it just means you're ashamed.

    If by hesitating to act or speak out you hurt someone else, or allow them to be hurt, you're a coward.

    no courage = coward (no balls)
    being ashamed = sinner (on purpose or having too much balls?)

    Nope.
    Courage is being able to stand up to what you're challenged with no matter what the odds of success.

    Being ashamed is knowing that you did something you shouldn't have done and YOU knew it was wrong to do it.

    There is NO FEAR involved with shame whereas some might be involved with courage.
