In the case the words "and" and "the". I couldn't help posting my dumb reply.
One starts with a s.
and one starts with o.
naming rights?.. oO
oceans have borders with other bodies of water and seas don't
do seas touch oceans? oO
I might be wrong but seas are sometimes connected to oceans, like the Med with the Atlantic, or the red sea and the indian ocean via an isthmus (a break in the land)..
lol i was just playin.. i expected you to say not without consent :)
It's too early in the morning for me, I need more coffee before my ability to engage in playful banter kicks in... I'm watching Modern Family reruns and taking it seriously atm, geez, am not a morning person *sighs*
no worries yrral
No difference at all, it's the same piece of water.
like the black sea?
The Black Sea is connected by the Bosphorus Strait to the Sea of Marmara, which is connected to the Aegean Sea, which adjoins the Mediterranean Sea, which adjoins the Atlantic Ocean, so yes it's still the same piece of water.
...except the black sea is far less saline than the agean sea and the black sea used to be a lake. Plus your argument is the same as saying that the eye is the same as the brain because its connected by the nervous system :P
Besides the spelling?
I look at it like the seas akin to different territories within a given ocean... Just the understanding of a simplistic mind.
Ocean is bigger than a sea
