When I was about 15, my buddies and I would leave burning paper bags of crap on peoples doorsteps at night. Usually around Halloween, and usually after 10:00 at night. We'd ring the doorbell and run like all hell. Usually the victim was someone we thought had dissed us in some way during the year. They saw no humor in it, but we laughed our ***** off as we ran for cover.

I THOUGHT it was funny. lol <br />

I worked at a place that had one line dedicated to a few stores and other lines that were more generic. We traded the inputs on one fellow worker. Seriously as soon as the caller identified which store he or she was calling from all the worker had to do was go on as if the call had come in on the usual line, but she didn't think it was funny and was rather upset at the rest of us for a very LONG time.

Never seen funny prank--just stupid or cruel. I like it when the person pranked turns around and belts the prankster in the face.

I made an accquaintance of mine beleive that I had a Russian penpal diagnosed with cancer...it was quite elaborate. I made some fake online identities, got another friend who lived overseas (who happened to be Russian) to pretend to be that girl, etc...I'm not sure why I did that...it was in grade six...it was quite funny. The accquaintance still believes me.
