3 months. Everything went wrong all at once in my life. I broke my leg, was off work unpaid for 3 months, couldn't rest properly at home as there were builders outside doing major renovations on my street. To top it all it as at this time i discovered that I had been lead on by a so-called friend, who had been pretending for months that she wanted a relationship. When I needed that person they walked out of my life without a goodbye. My other "friends also didn't stick around when I hit rock bottom. Horrific depresssion set in, hence 3 months without leaving my home.

I only leave my house about twice a month as it is. (Thank you, anxiety disorder.)
But as a kid, my mom would leave my brother and me at home alone for months at a time, and we couldn't go anywhere because school was out and we were too young to drive.
