Usually the love poems, I have written for my past girlfriends got the biggest responses out of them, so based on that I would say writing love poems.

Most romantic thing ever done for me was probably my second girlfriend's healing of my shattered heart.

I like love poems too. I've written all of them myself just to show that person how special he is=)

I always write mine from the heart, which usually makes them take a long time. I also don't reuse lines from a poem written for someone else.

My wife would tell you that the most romantic thing I ever did was to give her the "12 Days of Christmas" ...A different gift(s) for each of the 12 days, with a fancy little sign for each day, which she gathered together and framed.

boyfriend 1 - We were walking back from my birthday party and he reached into some bushes by the side of the road and pulled out a big red rose he'd hidden there earlier that night and gave it to me.

boyfriend 2 - he sent me a text with a pic of him looking dreamy and super imposed a thought bubble over his head with a picture of my face in it. Soooo cute!

you mean by not getting anything the next year and the next? No , I just realized that his "love language" did not include gift-getting. I get lots of affection/hugs so if I had to pick....I get the better thing.
