your daughter whenever, I don't care. My daughter... like 36ish
I hear you dad :) !
You got that right. I set the age at 60 for my daughter to start dating. Prior to that, she will be locked away in a nunnery.
when u're mature enough and ready to get hurt.
stark and true.
There's no right age, only the right maturity level.
According to my husband, our daughter who isn't even born yet, won't be allowed to date until she is 60 years old. I think she can start around 16 or 17.
16 is fairly a normal time to start dating, but to start dating somebody from EP NEVER!!!!!!!
I don't think there is a "right" age: it depends on the person concerned and their level of maturity and independence.
However, on a purely practical level, if soneone's below about 14 it's going to put limitations on where they can go on a "date" and how long they can stop out for.
When someone knows and understands the benefits and consquences of dating.
That depends on whether sex would be involved or not. If it was the old days, I would say mid-teens is the age where a girl would start seriously dating, although she could probably go to a prom at a younger age (like 14). But nowadays, sex has become almost a fixed part of dating, so anyone under eighteen would be too young because of laws about the age of consent. So I would say that the age would be eighteen because of the sexual issues.
Early to mid teens if you ask me, but this could be argued to the death.
When you're mature enough. Not like responsible, but emotionally mature
When both are mature enough.
Any age is perfect
Love has no age...:-)
If the child thinks it's the right time, it's the right time.
However, if I'm the father of the girl, remember I'm the angry 'red-neck' type. I like guns, fightings, heavy equipment, and long drives to secluded areas.
Hint. Hint. *Cough* Hint.
(I'm not very subtle am I?)
When you reach the age of reason.
how do you know you are at the point of "reason"....
When you can think straight n make yo own decisions without influences from yo environment
in fact, i realize that the correct age is after retirement..
maybe 17, but i have never dated anyone anyway :O
There is no "right age"; it all depends on the situation. I took a girl to the movies when I was 7 and she was 6. Was that too young? Our parents knew were friends and had arranged it, as her parents had plans and couldn't find a sitter.
When you think you're ready for it. When you've found a good person, not for their looks and such, and have actually thought it through. When you can honestly say "I really like this person" and when you've thought about every consequence to dating this person and are ready to face those if you are rejected or end up breaking up in the future
