Dove. The advertise "no soap scum". That is the ONLY reason I don't use Dove! The soap scum is horrible!

Any ad that says an item is under a certain price. For one, it's always a penny under, so it doesn't count. And then there's tax, so the item is actually higher than advertised.

Ex: "This sofa is under $500.00". In reality it's $499.99 + taxes.

In about 1960, one of the shaving companies, had a TV ad showing their product shaving the grit off sandpaper. They were fined by the authorities, when it was proven, the sand was sprinkled on a pane of glass. I saw that advertizement many times.

When cosmetics company advertise their product which claims that it would improve the self esteem by improving looks which is entirely gross to propagate such ideas cause inner strengths come through inner work on one's potential.

Sears ran an advertising campaign from the mid-60's that claimed : "Sears has everything" but when I called and asked for the totem pole department, I was told that Sears didn't sell totem poles.

I would have answered this question properly if the question had been 'What's the worst case.............'!
The word 'worse' has been used improperly here by the asker.

Reverse mortgages. They are a scam to make little old ladies on fixed incomes think that the equity in their home is free money.

In big and bold letters, "SALE! 50% OFF!"
Under it, in very small font sizes, "on selected items".
