Names from other languages may not always sound very nice in English. There is nothing necessarily wrong with the name just that it acquires an unintended meaning when pronounced in English. The most unfortunate example I have heard is 'Slobadonka'. If you know a female with this name ask them what it means then tell them the nearest equivalent meaning in English is 'Sandra' or 'Suzanna', anything but 'slob donkey'. You'll be saving them a lot of grief by giving them a nickname as quickly as possible.

Well one time my mom delivered a couple of twins, a boy and a girl, and the mom named the boy His Majesty and the girl Her Majesty, which is pretty awful. My dad was once obessessed with Winnie the Pooh... And he wanted to name me Winifred Pooh, which is also kinda horrible.

Yeah elisabethh parents can be thoughtless sometimes. They need to think what their kid's name will sound like when it gets shouted across the playground or classroom. My given name was pronounced with three syllables which is a few too many when you hear people shout it in anger, which I often did for some strange reason. This is why I adopted a shortened one syllable version of my name. Until the day she died my mum never found out why my name lost two syllables. It does not really bother me any more but to this day nobody uses my full name.Like (1)
