Probably beheading. Ive had a gun at my head before and imagining a sword ready at my neck seems worse. Plus the executioner might miss my neck, hit wrong, who knows. Even if the first bullet doesn't kill me chances are great I'd be unconscious or just not really aware before the next one hit.

i never tried either. a bullet should be nearly instantaneous if you hit the right spot. beheading might take a few seconds, and there's maybe a chance that the pain might not register before the end
