Whats with all these email scams?

received email that i have been sent 5000.00 threw western union and will receive 5000.00 per day untill i receive the full amount of 2000000.00,gave me all the info so i could track it online threw western union,what do these people expect to gain from me by doing this?

they want you to open the email and active the trojan - delete and block address it came from and run a virus scan.

while there are stupid people around that fall for this, it will keep happening, it is another way for people to gain money.
if stupid people do fall for it, then they deserve what they get, bankrupcy

You'd be surprised how many people fall for this sort of thing when someone flashes dollar signs at them.
