The U.S. is completely bankrupt!

It's official - 23 states are now bankrupt, 103 American cities are near bankruptcy, the U.S. auto and housing industries are collapsing. The U.S. dollar, once as good as gold, has declined in value over 30%. Our stock markets are down 40%. Many of our top banks are gone while others rely on handouts from the government to keep their head above water. The Medicare and Medicaid systems are falling apart due to a lack of funds.

And this is all happening at just the wrong moment. 78 million Americans are about to retire. According to the government over the next 20 years this "baby boom" generation will extract over $104 Trillion dollars from the Social Security and Medicare systems! (Read my lips - the money ain't there!)

Hard pressed cities, counties, states, auto companies, housing firms and most of our banks are depending on the federal government to bail them out. But here's the bottom line:

The U.S. government hasn't got any money
- It's totally broke!

Actually Washington is far worse than broke. Given it's financial obligations it's head over heels in debt. The deficit is now over one trillion bucks and our national debt is soaring to near $11 trillion dollars..

People are picking fights with their questions and then wondering why they get verbaly attacked. The one person went as far as to point the finger at a political party and call them names! Then she got aggravated with the negative feedback and posted another question about how some people just can't take constructive critisism and once again asked everyone to agree. People can be such bigots.

THIS RESESSION IS GETTING EVERY ONE DOWN WHAT WE NEED TO TAKE EVERYONES MIND OFF IT IS ANOTHER WAR.......IRAN STAY WHERE YOU ARE WE WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU.

I have to agree with you. Its been in decay ever since Bush took office. This year, all Americans will reap the consequences of their vote for Bush again. They wanted to be safe, rather then financially sound. Once the country is broke, then they will find a new currency. Yes, there are powerful people who are engineering this country to erase our borders. If she doesnt go down easy, Im sure they will force us to one way or another.

i'm sick of hearing about the economy and the bailout and taxes and politics in general. my arse is flying to vegas for the next four days and i'm going to be completely gluttonous and disgusting. thanks!

In 1955, five cents bought a three once candy bar. Today seventy-five cents buys a 3/4 once candy bar. Two cents worth? nada!

We dont have 2cents anymore, so, ....NOTHING!!
