Turn to Jesus Christ. As a Christian I turned to him when my wife left and while it was the most difficult thing I've ever gone through (even more than a military deployment), I came through stronger and had a better outlook on life.

My faith in Christ does not prevent difficulties, but it does give me the peace to remain sober and confident regardless of the storms life brings.

I'm not very good at being positive during difficult times, but I've noticed that difficult times make the good times seem so much sweeter. Learn to appreciate the good times while you have them and keep your head down until the hard times pass.

Nothing in life is permanent. Tomorrow is a new day. Spend time with a loved one and appreciate what makes you happy. Life is too short so don't stress.

Tell yourself this one thing, over and over "This will pass" "This will pass" because one way or another all things do. Keep the faith "All things will pass"

Looking back on my life, I seem to think of a philosophy about your life. When you start your life, it is like a hike. You climb and struggle and hanging on when things look dark..But as you rise, sometimes when the times are extremely difficult, turn around and look at the view from the mountain you are climbing. Each time you stop, the view gets better. Please stop at the next rise, and look around. See the beautiful view. I know the climb is hard. There are many hard cliffs and narrow passageways but keep in mind the wonderful life you will lead. We never know were life will take us. Much saddness and hearthache are there for most if us but remember to see the good and the lessons we learn along the way.

I heard a saying once. "hard times are like being lost in the ocean. The rescue boat is on their way. All you need to do is keep your head above the water until they get there." it reminds you that the world is not over and good will come again.

Remember the last time you faced such difficult times. They passed and so will this. Conditions never stay the same unless you keep worrying and holding onto them. Take a walk in a park, enjoy nature and let your mind be distracted from the problem. :)
