What's your diagnosis, doc? My friend is convinced he knows more about his medical treatment than his own doctors do...
And scares off other patients out in the waiting room with horror stories of what he has been through and what they might potentially go through. He made one patient run out of the building today. He writes letters to his senator AND the president of the United States about the poor quality of his health care at the VA. Is his doctor, a respected doctor of research at Boston Medical, just that poor....or is my friend a true hypochondriac?

Another one? My associate believes HE knows more than the doctors at Brigham & Women's in Boston and that he can treat his kidney condition with diet, specifically eating "the perfect food" - bananas. Can you guess what I think HE is? LOL
Doctors are human and make mistakes but they have more training than we lay people do.Like (1)

He might actually. Doctors have a lot going on and the most important patient advocate is the patient!
