I don't like pet names. For people or pets. My cat's name is Cat, for Christ's sake. I get uncomfortable when someone calls me something other than my name or a nickname that I have approved of.

I don't have a favourite. I think all pets should have names that fit them. I once had a puppy whom we had named Rusty (guess why) but after a week, his name had changed. He always waited for someone to start walking, then he would run and get under their feet. His name became Tripper. (guess why)
