Eagles

Best Answer

Is their music considered southern? I've never thought of it as such. lol

Best Answer

I always thought so--especially when they first appeared on the scene--the popular bands were along the lines of Santana, Kansas, Yes, Led Zep., even Chicago--so given all that, they did indeed have a southern, country accent to their music. 1972 - 73---I remember it well.

Best Answer

In a way, I can see your point. But I just always thought of them more as Americana country rock, without much southern influence.

Best Answer

Maybe I equate southern and country together--How about Lynyrd Skynyrd?

Best Answer

I agree but it's just always been my thought not to classify the Eagles as southern but I can also see your point.
