yeah,my tastes in metal/rock are older,vary and go to the extremes,'style-wise,I mean,I could listen to something really mellow or even older,say from the 50's,60's and in the next minute I could be listening to bands like you mentioned or even harder/faster. All 'styles' of metal I like although NOT all bands/performers of course. I can listen to rock,metal,thrash,all kinds but I do like mellower stuff also,even though I don't listen to it much.When I say 'older' I mean,I like older bands/artists early '90's and Prior,back to the 50's :). I was listening to Bill Haley's 'Rock Around The Clock' and other 50's stuff as a kid even though it came out years before. Was really into 60's music as a kid and as I grew up I listened to what was going on that decade of course but,when grunge came around in the early '90s and a whole change going on in the metal 'scene',I stopped caring for new stuff,unless from an artist I listened to prior,Yngwie Malmsteen for example.Been a fan since the 80's :). Sorry for the long reply,hey,music,always loved and more than likely,always will :). By the way,even though I have some and don't listen to it much,I LOVE CLASSICAL also,the violin/strings,all of it.
