The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you vote first and take orders later. In a dictatorship you don't have to waste your time voting. - Charles Bukowski
I like alot of quotes, but the first one I thought of was, "Don't judge me till you know me. Don't underestimate me till you challenge me. And don't talk about me, until you talk to me." I'm not sure who wrote it though.
I use it in everyday life, because I don't like it when someone I've never seen or talked to, assumes they know ever detail of my life and who I am. So I try hard not to judge anyone, or underestimate them, until I get to know them.
Keep your mind going in the right direction and your life will catch up with it.
No.
However, I do consciously live by a mantra, which I find myself repeating often on a daily basis:
"It's only a paycheck, it's only a paycheck..."
golf: best way to spoil a good walk... winston churchill
"Choose your battles." I try to live by this.
