When a guy says I hope I never do anything to hurt you...?

Do you think they mean what they say or does this send up a red flag?

HOW TO SPOT PUPPET MEN.

RUN for the hills. One should never speak using the term "hope" when describing a future "action" taken upon oneself. This leads me to believe... 1) He doesn't trust himself 2) He knows that he will probably commit some act in the future that will cause you to hurt and he is already laying down the ground work.....on his sensitivity for future smooth-talking apologies.

A person who truly cares about other people do not commit actions that hurt others. They tend to think before they act.

People prone to hurting others act as if they have no control over their actions, as if someone above them is pulling the strings and they are just the puppet going along with some show. I call them Puppet Men. Puppet Men say things like....I couldn't help it or it just happened or I hope I don't do that.. etc.

The above is written under normal conditions..

On the other hand..... if a person is ultra sensitive they can be hurt over the slightest of things...

Although I do know that I would not want to hurt anyone intentionally, but I have said things which were taken in away that have lead loved ones to get hurt. Also the reverse has happened to me.
