1998/1999 when I was about 15. It was just as they were becoming truly practical... although I had been using one for a year or so before I actually bought one.

My first landline when I was about 21. Those were the days when that's all we had .. no cell phones.
My first cell phone .. probably 1998.

Way before you were born. Back when all phones were land-based and looked the same. They were all black and had rotary dials.

Mustve been back in 1995 but it was a brick compared to the mobiles now, I was so pleased with myself cos hardly anyone else had them at the time, but then I couldnt call anyone cos noone I knew had one, lol
