I think it really hit home when my sister in law died of cancer a few years ago leaving my brother to raise their four boys. Their youngest turned two just two days before she passed away.

When I saw someone jumped off a balcony. I was so angry/upset, why? Because that person disregard the lives of those who loved him. Instead he gave them something to remember for the rest of their lives. Good for him he's dead, the rest of the family have to live with his stupidity. I wish he's done it somewhere where no one knows and bothered about it.

Does it really matters? Whatever reason/s he might have, jumping off that balcony will leave a big scar to the people around him for the rest of their lives.

    When my grandmother died.
She was 85, but so bubbly, healthy, and perfectly fine! Then she got a kidney infection that made her very ill, and she had a stroke after infection spread, which killed her. It happened in the course of 3 days, and I didn't make it to the hospital in time to see her. I realized that 85 years is a pretty short time in the grand scheme of things, and that you could be in great health and still die if your body decides it can't fight.

When I was in 2nd grade after my neighbor/classmate was murdered. I realized that anyone can die at anytime. Then I realized that even if I lived to one hundred, my perception of time will change, just as this moment feels like it is lasting forever, a year when I am old can seem like just a moment.

& I used to think that was the worst thing I could experience. Funny how life proved me wrong. Death does teach you a lot about life that is for sure.
