    I just came back from visiting a friend for a week and met her husband of two years...
    I guess you just know. By watching them interact, how they look at each other, how they talk... it was all genuine. I guess you just know. She said she knew he was it. I tend to believe her.

    I find it best to just let the whole idea of "the one" go. Throughout our lives, we change, our needs change, and our circumstances change. Not only that, but look at how many of us there are! Why would there be only ONE who could be right for you?

    You know without a doubt when a person is RIGHT for you at that moment, you know if they are good for you and make you happy and that is all that matters. :) Pardon me if this sounds negative, (it is not intended as such!) but I feel like projecting the idea of "the one" onto your relationships is selling both of you short and setting yourself up for disappointment. Just enjoy each other moment by moment.
