A job is worth to live, eat, be busy. A career request the pleasure of working, pleasure to guide others to do their job, to properly direct a team, to be empathetic without being lax and do everything to continue personal development ...

When you can stay in it long enough, before the next layoff. Wait. I guess I've never had a career, then.

I think that a job becomes a career when it meets certain criteria such as longevity, it keeps you interested and challenged, it has room for learning and growth, and it fulfills you. If all of these things are not in the equation and you are simply working to collect a paycheck, then it is just a job.....:)

A job becomes a career when you become so good at whatever it is you’re doing that your ego won’t let you do anything else for a living. It’s all about bragging rights, nothing more, and nothing less.

A JOB BECOMES A CAREER WHEN YOU LEARN TO LOVE IT. WELL COMPENSATION IS PROBABLY A MUST.
