Extreme hard rules never survive scrutiny. Some ends sometimes justify some means, but no end justifies all means.

I think it's subjective for everyone. when one is in a critical, pressing situation, that requires a quick decision and firm action, it's very likely they'd surprise themselves with the decision.

talking about it over a cup of cofee... will have irrelevant conclusions.

It doesn't. There is no value in any ill-gotten gain and people who are greedy and selfish are their own undoing. The civil and criminal courts along with the jails and prisons in this country are brimming with them.
