Learn to laugh at scary obsessive thoughts. They will go away when they have no power over you. Likely, they represent a sense of feeling not good enough for other people, but it is coming from your fears and is not real. Don't believe everything you think.

If my experiences with DID has taught me anything, it's that having the thought of, for example, hanging someone on meat hooks and skinning him alive, and actually doing it are two VERY different things.<br />
I'm not saying it's healthy to think it, mind you...but it's certainly less healthy to do it.
