That is some very very good advice boo1988, I suggest you take it seriously.

After you get the epidural, not before.

I don't think there's ever an 'ideal' time. Like has previously been said - once you have a supportive partner and you're emotionally and financially secure. There's certainly no magic age by which you should have them.

When you have dilated to about 10 cm, that's usually when they say it begins, some count when your water breaks.



If the question was based on economics or involvement status. Only you can answer that, it will be tough, but you can have them when your younger and your childhood is fresh in your mind. Or you can wait until your older and more settled. Really up to you, I had mine younger, and I enjoyed them a great deal, however 35 or 40 would not be good, better than nothing, but, look how old you'll be when they graduate, when they go to college.
