When living with an x for financial reasons. Would you do it if you two get along?
My x.has offered me and my kids to live with him to ssave money for a move we are both making to another state. His gf lives in the other state we are.going to. It would only be a few months. We get along ok. Is this a good idea? Or should I just make the move quick and be tight with money?.......for the record I moved in and things have been fine , no major problems.

It seemed to work for Garth Brooks, but it is not something I would consider.

No, it's not a good idea. You might be getting along okay now, but you might not be in a month or two. And you living with him might damage his relationship with his girlfriend.

You have to be extremely good grounds and the fact that they are an X should be secondary to everything. The existing friendship is a real one then it won't be a problem. The fact you are asking proablably means it's not a good thing to do. Boundaries will be all broken and that will cause confusion and likely anger. Cut ties so when you are a long it's on your own terms. the Different parenting styles is actually a bad thing regardless of the situation. You do need to coparent or you will tear the relationship between the children and the parents.
