want my attention, "mom" this and "mom" that. One day I barely kept myself from impatiently screaming "WHAT!" I slowed down and went close to him and quietly said "what, honey?" and he said, "I love you mom" and I realized I almost blew it. Has that kind of thing ever happened to you?

You'll have to keep being patient. He's just a child, and children require a lot of patience! I have a five year old niece who won't leave me alone sometimes!<br />
You jsut have to grin and bear it. Maybe just tell him to go and play, or turn on the tv?
