alicia87	Posted Aug 4th, 2009 at 5:53PM You're talking about in this forum? If they answer "I don't care," it usually means they say it to make a statement. Like when someone purposely leaves a comment that says "no comment." It's not that they have no comment, it's that they want to show you they have one but are too "polite" to share it. (Ha!) cerberus3030150	Posted Aug 4th, 2009 at 8:01AM If it's a question here, then it's pointless for them to answer with I don't care and you're possibly right, they might care. If it's a question asked in person, then the response may be honest, or maybe they don't care enough to respond honestly, or it's possible that they care a great deal but they know their honest response will spark an argument that they don't care to have. 'cause I know w/ any of my sibs & BFFs, if they answer with "I don't care" I know they truly don't. then there's the awkward mister in my life. when he answers with "I don't care," I know he's just uncomfortable to let me know his real answer. then there's the "I don't care" which equals "you're bothering me" & that's usually obviously to tell Rated: +1Vote for this!
