When involved with sports, I never prayed to win but for protection, to do my best, and to not do anything to dishonor my God. That's what I believe other Christian athletes also pray for.
I do not believe God intercedes in sport events ba<x>sed on prayers. I do believe he gives us the strength, the abilities and the will to face the challenges that lie before us, though.
And that sums up the problem with religion in a nutshell; that we can manipulate a god. How arrogant!
He divides each pla<x>yers season total yards by the size of his ego. Bigger number wins.
Football teams on stadiums,<br />
troops on battlefields,<br />
diplomats on negotiating tables...<br />
all will win when they have conscious knowledge<br />
to pray sincerely and submitting to God's Will<br />
instead of theirs.<br />
That is why wise people keep on praying<br />
everywhere at all times.
YUP--All those inocent men, women& children that suffer& die are winners!
he only follows The English Premier League
they both get unanswered prayers that day
