Different things for different people. For some, it would be as an additional thrill to their lives, for others, when they feel that their husband no longer loves them or gives them any attention.... and a whole lot of other things too besides.

Communication and honesty is the key. People (men AND women) need to try and solve relationship problems without resorting to affairs. Infidelity solves nothing.
