Remove myself from the depressing factor if at all possible. Get into the right state of mind with relaxation. Bath, candles. I write a lot. Sometimes it does the trick, sometimes it makes it worse. Look for positive insight. My dad is my go to guy. He always listens and offers positive feedback and caring solution suggestions. He doesn't get caught up in it though. Doesn't weave a web of drama like most do. He just filters through it. Fresh air helps.
