I would defintley say the beach chair is more safe
These beaches in this day and age could be carrying
Any kind of bacteria or fleshing eating bacteria

Thank You:) Now years ago the beach sand was more safe but so many oil spills and so many sick animals found dead on the sand and no one knows and bacteria will grow where there is heat
