When you were a child your mum allowed you to have a hot water bottle in your bed?

My mum did not.She had 2 hot water bottle and i was so cold in my bed.

When my Daughter was a child, I made her a cute little stuffed animal in which I inserted a 2 liter pepsi bottle of hot water to keep her warm in the winter. She called it her Warm Wiggle. She easily got into a cold bed and was soon asleep because of the comfort.

My mum allowed the dog to sleep at the foot end of my bed ON my bed, and sometimes a couple of dogs. When it got REAL cold, it was a three-dog night.

Yes - I was allowed a hot water bottle and a quilt in the cold winter nights, when the air condensed your breath in the bedroom...
