I think it should be switched who is paying to make it fair. Just cause I was born with boobs doesn't mean I can't throw down some of my money as well.

at the start, if he's asking then he's paying unless you really insist. after a while, you're entitled to speak up and renegotiate the ground rules.

However, in modern times, there is nothing wrong with the woman paying for the night out, especially if she does the inviting.

If it's a real date (where I ask the girl out), I expect to pay for everything. If it's just two friends getting together. Then it's the same to me as if it's a guy friend that I'm with. We both pay our own or one or the other volunteers to pay.

I don't think he should always have to pay...i mean if he wants to pay every time that is fine, but I think to do things for my boyfriend sometimes.
